Health officials confirmed 22 COVID-19 fatalities on Wednesday and the country’s COVID-19 death toll has risen to 13,696.
The COVID-19 deaths confirmed on Wednesday include 15 persons over the age of 60, six persons between 30 and 59 years, and one person below the age of 30.
The Epidemiology Unit states that 76.5% of the total COVID-19 fatalities are from the over-60 age group, 22.33% of the fatalities are from the 30 to 59 age group, and 1.18% of the fatalities are from the under-30 age group.
Of the country’s COVID-19 fatalities, 7,650 are male and 6,046 are female. Thirteen COVID-19 deaths confirmed on Wednesday were female and nine were male.
