Health officials confirmed 21 COVID-19 fatalities on Tuesday, which raised the country’s COVID-19 death toll to 13,791.
Fifteen COVID-19 deaths confirmed on Tuesday were female and six were male. The Epidemiology Unit states that 7,701 of the total COVID-19 fatalities are male and 6,090 are female.
Sixteen COVID-19 deaths confirmed on Tuesday were over the age of 60 and five were between 30 and 59 years. Zero deaths were confirmed from the under-30 age group. According to the Epidemiology Unit, 76.46% of COVID-19 deaths confirmed thus far are from the over-60 age group, 22.35% of deaths are from the 30 to 59 age group, and 1.18% of deaths are from the under-30 age group.
