Sixteen COVID-19 fatalities were confirmed by health officials on Tuesday, raising the country’s COVID-19 death toll to 14,811.
The COVID-19 fatalities confirmed on Tuesday include 11 persons over 60 years, four persons between 30 and 59 years, and one person below 30 years. The Epidemiology Unit states that 76.47% of the total COVID-19 fatalities are over 60 years, 22.37% are between 30 and 59 years, and 1.16% are below 30 years.
Of the total COVID-19 fatalities, 8,298 are male and 6,513 are female. Eight COVID-19 deaths confirmed on Tuesday were male and eight were female.
