Health officials confirmed 11 COVID-19 fatalities on Wednesday, raising the country’s COVID-19 death toll to 15,174.
The COVID-19 fatalities confirmed on Wednesday include eight persons over 60 years and three persons between 30 and 59 years. Zero COVID-19 deaths were confirmed from the under-30 age group.
According to the Epidemiology Unit, 76.28% of the total COVID-19 fatalities are over 60 years, 22.52% are between 30 and 59 years, and 1.19% are below 30 years.
Seven COVID-19 fatalities confirmed on Wednesday were male and four were female.
Of the total COVID-19 deaths, 8,520 are male and 6,654 are female.
