Health officials confirmed 10 COVID-19 fatalities on Monday and the country’s COVID-19 death toll has risen to 13,770.
Eight fatalities confirmed on Monday were over the age of 60, while one was between 30 and 59 years and one was below the age of 30. According to the Epidemiology Unit, 76.46% of the total COVID-19 fatalities are from the over-60 age group, 22.36% of the fatalities are from the 30 to 59 age group, and 1.18% of the fatalities are from the under-30 age group.
The Epidemiology Unit adds that 7,695 COVID-19 fatalities are male and 6,075 COVID-19 fatalities are female. Five COVID-19 deaths confirmed on Monday were male and five were female.
