Health officials confirmed 10 COVID-19 fatalities on Sunday, raising the country’s COVID-19 death toll to 16,407.
According to the Department of Government Information, eight COVID-19 fatalities confirmed on Sunday were from the over-60 age group and two were from the 30 to 59 age group. Zero COVID-19 fatalities were confirmed from the under-30 age group on Sunday.
The Epidemiology Unit states that 76.28% of the total COVID-19 deaths are over 60 years, 22.4% are between 30 and 59 years, and 1.32% are below 30 years.
A total of 9,253 COVID-19 deaths confirmed to date are male and 7,154 are female.
Nine COVID-19 fatalities confirmed on Sunday were male and one was female.
