Health officials confirmed 10 COVID-19 fatalities on Tuesday increasing the country’s COVID-19 death toll to 15,065.
The fatalities confirmed on Tuesday include seven persons over 60 years of age and three persons between 30 and 59 years. Zero COVID-19 fatalities were confirmed from the under-30 age group on Tuesday.
According to the Epidemiology Unit, 76.32% of the total COVID-19 fatalities are over 60 years, 22.49% are between 30 and 59 years, and 1.19% are below 30 years.
Of the total COVID-19 deaths, 8,456 are male and 6,609 are female.
Seven COVID-19 fatalities confirmed on Tuesday were male and three were female.
