Sri Lanka’s leading auto repair engineers, Milroy Auto Engineers recently tied up with Lankem Paints Ltd. to supply the local market with a wide ranging portfolio of automotive refinishes from USA’s paints and coatings giant Sherwin-Williams.
Located in Kohalwila Road, Kelaniya, Milroy Engineers counts over twenty five years of experience in handling the technical requirements of top-end vehicles such as BMWs and are considered technical experts in this particular market segment.
Sherwin-Williams is the biggest aerospace, architectural, chemical, industrial and marine coatings manufacturer of the world and is one of the world’s top automotive paint companies. One of the leading giants in the USA, Sherwin-Williams was established in 1866 and is now present in more than over 100 countries across the world with an annual turnover of over $ 8 billion.
Under the agreement Lankem Paints Ltd. has furnished Milroy Engineers with a total colour mixing solution, which is in line with ISO standards. The Colour Mixing Machine consists of a mixing rack, scales and mixing table with air circulation for safety. To ensure a total solution for quality conscious customers Lankem Paints has also assigned a highly experienced and well-trained technician who assists in the critical task of matching colours.
Lankem Paints Ltd. General Manager Daminda SIriwardena said: “As the sole agent for Sherwin-Williams Auto Refinish products in Sri Lanka, we’re happy to bring the international super brand Ultra 7000 to Sri Lanka’s automotive market. Ultra 7000 is OEM certified for all American, Japanese, European and even some Chinese vehicles. It is quick drying, durable and cost effective and, has all the colours required around the world.”
