LAUGFS Car Care launches ‘Free Vehicle Inspection Campaign’

LAUGFS Car Care launched a ‘Free Vehicle Inspection Campaign’ recently and provided vehicle inspection services to motorists in Nugegoda and Negombo free of charge under the first stage of the campaign.
The campaign was initiated in Nugegoda when LAUGFS Car Care sponsored Car Clinic 2013, which took place from 5 to 7 July. Car Clinic is the annual car care event organised by the Department of Entrepreneurship of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura and was held at the university premises this year. The event was a fundraiser for activities of the university such as career guidance, leadership and skill development, CSR and other community related programs.
The LAUGFS Car Care team was on hand to provide free inspection services to vehicle owners of the university on all three days of the event. The lecturers, staff and students who availed themselves of this opportunity were impressed with the quality of the service and provided positive feedback to the team.
In August, LAUGFS Car Care organised the ‘32 point free vehicle inspection’ program at the Negombo Base Hospital as the second step of the main campaign. The doctors of the hospital were provided free vehicle inspections and additionally, all vehicle owners were provided the LAUGFS Car Care Privilege Card which is packed with exclusive benefits.
Once again the feedback from the doctors who received the services was very positive. Furthermore, there were several inquiries, particularly from those who were unable to attend, about the exact date and location of the next step of the campaign.
As a truly Sri Lankan company LAUGFS Car Care hopes to take its services to a wide cross section of the population through the ‘Free Vehicle Inspection Campaign’. For this purpose the company plans to organise similar programs in the future for the benefit of corporates and organisations in other cities.
