Jaguar Land Rover has announced the appointment of SML Frontier (SMLF) Automotive as the sole authorised distributor of Jaguar and Land Rover in Sri Lanka as of 1 August.

SMLF will offer the entire range of Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles at the recently opened world class showroom located at No. 74, Flower Road, Colombo 07. 

Announcing the appointment, Russell Anderson – Managing Director, Jaguar Land Rover, Asia Pacific Importer Markets, ‎Jaguar Land Rover stated, “Bringing Jaguar and Land Rover together under SML Frontier Automotive is a positive step forward for both the business and our customers. It marks a new beginning for Jaguar with SMLF, with the F-PACE soon to be launched in Sri Lanka alongside our new generation of Jaguar vehicles. This partnership also demonstrates our commitment to the premium vehicle market in Sri Lanka and we are confident that this will bring Jaguar Land Rover to greater heights.”

In addition to the extensive product range of Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles available at the showroom, the distributor will also soon launch the F-Pace, the first ever SUV from Jaguar to Sri Lanka. Land Rover’s, Range Rover Evoque Convertible, the most capable all-terrain convertible in the world will also make its way to local shores. 

The distributor will also be the local agent for authorised Jaguar and Land Rover parts and after sales services. The reliable and specialist after sales service team aim to deliver excellence teamed with effective solutions to customers at the new state-of-the-art Boralasgamuwa workshop located at No. 17, Dehiwela Road, Boralasgamuwa.
