In a gesture that reaffirms the significance of such partnerships, AB Mauri Lanka recently held ‘Wasana Warusa’ which offered a bonanza of valuable gifts such as scooters and mobile phones for over 40 customers who took part in the competition. In addition, 2,500 consolation gifts were also given away.
The distribution of prizes took place at a ceremony held at the Galle Face Hotel, attended by the management of AB Mauri, key customers and other distinguished invitees.
The Wasana Warusa participants were delighted to have won scooters and mobile phones as gifts. The winners of the scooters, H.M. Chandrathilaka of Bravo City Hotel and R.A. Ranasinghe, owner of Ranasinghe Bakery were very happy with their gifts. Having been in the bakery industry for a considerable period of time, H.M. Chandrathilaka says that he has benefitted greatly from the training and know-how provided by the company, for over 10 years. “AB Mauri Lanka has been more than a supplier of bakery ingredients to us. We have learnt a lot from their training which in turn has helped us become more professional bakers,” he added.
Among the eight lucky winners of mobile phones, were many content bakery experts. Commenting on the mobile phone he won in Wasana Warusa, P. Premaratne of Wish Bakery says that the competition has added considerable value to their relationship, one forged for over 25 years as a customer. “It is only the gifts we have won but also the way in which the company maintains a rapport with us on a consistent basis,” he reiterates.
