Uber launches UberMOTO in Colombo

Uber, the world’s largest on-demand ride-sharing company, has announced the launch of its bike-sharing product, uberMOTO in Colombo. With this launch, Uber will take another step forward in its efforts to provide multi-modal solutions to riders in Colombo. The bike sharing product will bring another affordable option to riders in Colombo to get from point A to Point B at the tap of a button

UberMOTO gives riders an affordable and convenient motorcycle ride at the push of a button, through the Uber app. Riders receive driver and bike details just as they do for other Uber rides, as well as all standard safety features before, during and after the ride including GPS tracking, two-way feedback and the ability to share trip details with family and friends.

MOTO will be one of the most affordable transportation options in the city, with fares as low Rs. 25.
