Sri Lanka’s leading multibrand workshop, Ultimate Motorworks Ltd. (UMW) announced a drastic expansion to its ability to provide specialised auto servicing solutions for the entire spectrum of BMW vehicles flowing from its landmark acquisition of BMW servicing specialist Bavarian Auto Services (BAS).
Backed by a collective seven years of intensive domestic market expertise, UMW will now be able to offer BMW owners an unmatched quality of service, while BAS’s specialised expertise in the servicing of older generation BMWs will provide even greater value.
“Bavarian Auto Services is an organisation which has quickly built a strong reputation for attention to detail, value for money, and above all quality service. BMW is after all an extremely powerful machine, and naturally, its servicing requires skilled hands and a passion for precision. We felt a very strong alignment between BAS and UMW in that regard, and we look forward to a momentous journey ahead,” UMW Director Upendra Palugaswewa stated.
Based out of an advanced workshop facility in Boralesgamuwa, UMW offers trusted, comprehensive, and affordable repairs of a wide variety of vehicles and brands such as BMW, Land Rover, Mini, Mercedes, Alfa, Fiat, Hyundai, Kia, and Toyota. The workshop also comes fully stocked with genuine spare parts, and is capable of handling everything from restorations and modifications to collision repair, water-based spray booth painting and Auto AC repairs.
A respected leader in the domestic market, UMW is considered the chosen expert for all vehicle servicing requirements, and is also established to the extent that it is able to work directly with insurance companies to ensure a smooth repair experience.
“There are a great deal more exciting developments coming from UMW as we move forward. We are planning to partner up with international leaders in car grooming accessories as well as an expansion of glass tinting services to cover newer hybrid and electric vehicles as well.
“Meanwhile, our enhanced service abilities and increased technical expertise as a result of our acquisition of BAS means that we will be able to ensure that regardless of whether a customer brings in one of the latest models with advanced electronics and computers, or an old model that is purely mechanical, we have all the resources necessary to ensure that their vehicles will stay running in mint condition for many years to come,” Palugaswewa stated.
