Sri Lanka’s leading private sector bank, HNB PLC announced a renewed partnership with domestic automotive giants, Indra Traders, to offer exciting leasing packages for all unregistered vehicles and Foton trucks.
The agreement was finalised at Indra Traders Head office Colombo in the presence of HNB’s Deputy General Manager Retail Banking and SME Sanjay Wijemanne, Head of Personal Financial Services Kanchana Karunagama and Senior Manager Leasing Niluka Amarasinghe along with Indra Trader’s Director Sales and Marketing Hashindra Silva, General Manager Sajini Silva, Senior Marketing Manager Rasika De Silva, Marketing Manager Tuan Ossen and Marketing Manager Saleela Rajapaksha.
“Despite a sharp 27.2% YoY reduction in vehicle registrations of the past year, demand for vehicles capable of supporting commercial and industrial activity remains quite strong despite these challenging market conditions. For generations, Indra Traders has played a pivotal role in fulfilling this demand with durable, high-performance trucks. HNB too has had a long relationship with Indra Traders and its customers, and we are very proud to further extend this partnership in order to provide maximum value and convenience to our shared customers,” Wijemanne stated.
Customers availing themselves of the promotion will be entitled to special reduced interest rates in addition to a free life insurance cover of Rs. 4.5 million. The insurance is also anchored to discounted premiums from HNB General Insurance, and a free credit card with special discounts and benefits from HNB Leasing. Moreover, HNB customers also have the option of choosing either a structured or residual leasing facility, to better suit their budget, with minimal documentation, personalised service and doorstep assistance.
“We are pleased to partner with HNB to offer affordable leasing packages inclusive of concessionary interest rates, benefits and our excellent after sales service through this promotion,” Indra Traders’ Director Sales and Marketing Hashindra Silva said.
Through the partnership, HNB and Indra Traders will also be waiving registration charges for the first 25 Toyota Raize vehicles in addition to waiving of registration fees on all commercial vehicles purchased from Indra Traders. Each vehicle purchased during the promotion period will also include a free door visor, carpets, reverse camera, and a DVD player.
Additionally, Indra Traders will offer all HNB customers a special price scheme as well as 2 vehicle services free of labour costs.
