HNB Grameen Finance Ltd., Sri Lanka’s premier leasing solutions provider, recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Indra Traders Ltd., one of the leading distributors of renowned automobile brands in Sri Lanka.

The agreement between the two companies will offer exclusive leasing packages with lowest interest rates for customers who wish to buy reconditioned Japanese vehicle brands and Foton trucks which Indra Traders is importing to Sri Lanka.

HNB Grameen Finance Ltd. also offers their customers the option of choosing between structured and residual leasing and designing the leasing plan to fit the customer’s income and budget. Free registration for reconditioned Japanese vehicles, minimal documentation, personalised one day service, doorstep assistance, and discounted vehicle insurance premiums are some of the benefits that customers will be afforded as a result of this partnership.

Meanwhile, Indra Traders will offer a host of benefits exclusively to HNB Grameen Finance Ltd. customers such as exclusive warranty, and after-sales services.

Speaking at the MoU signing, HNB Grameen Finance Ltd. Managing Director B.M.D.C. Prabhath said: “Through our latest synergy with Indra Traders, we aim to address the rapidly growing demand for Foton brand vehicles in the country, while delivering scores of benefits for the discerning customers.”

“Lately, we have been witnessing a significant rise in requests for leasing options from customers who are aspired to purchase a reconditioned Japanese vehicle.  We believe our newest MoU with Indra Traders will greatly benefit that specific segment of customers in Sri Lanka by offering tailored leasing packages, where we could lend our helping hand to realise their dreams,” Chaminda Prabhath commented further.

Speaking at the event, Indra Traders Ltd. Managing Director Rushanka Silva said, “We have entered into a partnership with HNB Grameen Finance last year to offer exclusive and affordable leasing options for our customers and it has yielded great results for them. This newest tie up will help them to further enhance their capacities and make Foton range of vehicles and reconditioned Japanese vehicles more affordable.”
