The Triad team celebrates its 20th anniversary with an unmatched feat in creative excellence, by winning the top slot in the print category in 2011, 2012 and 2013.
Sri Lanka’s only 100% local communication company proudly delivers its ‘Sri Lanka can’ credo. As a veritable communication academy, the company has always encouraged the youth of Sri Lanka to experience working in an environment, which nurtures creative thinking.
A believer of Sri Lankan talent and ability, Triad, being the hotbed of insight based home-grown creativity, is the perfect place for the young and innovative thinkers to dabble in the exciting world of communication. To date, more than 100 young people have walked through the portals of the company, learning the fundamentals of creative thinking, which they have applied to the discipline of advertising or any other career path they have progressed into over time.
The newly appointed Triad Executive Creative Director Charith de Silva was very encouraged by the teams’ continuing performance. He believed that “Triad is doing something right to be able to win consistently for three whole years. We at Triad, encourage young minds to express their ideas freely. Most often, we brainstorm in a larger group comprising of multi disciplinary people. Everyone is welcome to share his or her view. Everyone is pulled into action. We as an agency believe in dynamism and are very action oriented. We believe laughter; fun and work must go hand in hand. It is only then that fresh thinking can surface.”
Triad Director/CEO Sarva Amarasekere added: “We have a moral obligation to our clients to create a real time business solution that will assist them in growing their brands. We have to consider both the Science and the Art of the matter. That is the reason why we base our creative thinking on research findings. We lay emphasis on walking the talk and seeking out real life insights that can be used in our communication to creatively entice a customer. We communicate a brand’s promise in order to bring the brand closer to the people. We aim at creating love marks as opposed to simply presenting product features. This is definitely our success—our cutting edge.”
The young Triad Team comprising of Suchintha de Silva and Shehan Samarasinghe, having won the Cannes Young Lions competition locally, looks forward to compete with the best in the world, and bring back a Cannes Lion for Sri Lanka this year. The event, which will be held in Cannes, France for a week in June, promises to be an unforgettable experience for the young creative teams from Sri Lanka. The Triad Team salutes the sponsor of the competition Unilever, together with The Metal Factor, 4As, IAA and SLIM for organising this event, which creates healthy competition amongst talented young people in the industry.
Triad, having walked the talk for 20 years takes immense pride in maintaining its leading presence through the years in a highly competitive industry. A team of over 110 stands committed to deliver the best creative communication solutions to discerning clients. Along the way, recognition and reward such as the Cannes Young Lion Competition prove to be highly valued accolades and a symbol of the company’s creative stature. Having won the awards competition consecutively in 2011, 2012 and now in 2013, the Triad Team re-asserts its global local status stronger than ever and strengthens the company’s core competency, the ‘API’ factor.
