Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM) announces NASCO 2012 – its premier event dedicated to recognise the efforts and performance of Sales Personnel. It is also the only national level event to recognise and reward Sri Lanka’s sales force attached to numerous organisations.
The prestigious event NASCO has undergone a major change in the year 2010. Previously, companies made their nominations of outstanding sales professionals and they were given a certain amount of training (1/2 day) by an eminent sales professional and this was followed-up with a celebration of their success. There were no process of evaluation by SLIM and all participants were awarded only a certificate. As a result of this change, process of evaluation and selection of sales champions in various sectors as well job categories have been introduced from 2010 onwards.
“For the 12th consecutive year, SLIM is pleased to recognise achievers in sales by rewarding and motivating sales professionals, who are achieving ‘Taller than their Targets’,” SLIM NASCO 2012 Project Chairman Suranjith Swaris said. He commended SLIM President Thilan Wijesakara, VP-Projects Gamika de Silva and Advisor to the Project Committee Dhanesh R.Jayathilaka for their guidance.
