The Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing’s Marketers Summit 2016 will be held on 20 October at Waters Edge from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will feature five renowned international speakers.
SLIM invites all aspiring marketers to be present at this one-of-a-kind event, as some of the best practices in the marketing world are explained, the biggest case studies are shared and new marketing trends are introduced. Based on the core message, “Exclusively for marketers… We believe everyone is a marketer”, the program consists of five prominent topics, which have proved to be vital in the development of the marketing industry.
The first speaker, Norman Wagner, the Managing Director of MediaCom Beyond Advertising will address the gathering on the importance and use of branding, under the topic “What every marketer should know about content marketing”, while the second address will be based on the topic, “The winning formula of digital marketing”, and delivered by the CEO of Best Marketing International, Hando Sinisalu.
Speaker number three will be none other than Ian Ramsden, Founding Member and Fellow of the UK’s Institute of Direct & Digital Marketing, who comes with over 44 years worth of experience in the marketing industry. Ramsden will be sharing his views and experience on the topic of CRM (“Emotional Royalty through CRM”).
The fourth speech will be delivered by Jean-Marc Flambert, the Vice President of the Sales and Marketing sector of the UK, Europe Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority. It will be based on the inspiring topic, “A look into the world of branding through the eyes of 3 islands”.
The day’s program will come to an end following the address on Modern Trade (Retail Marketing), delivered by Mr. K. Vijay Kishore, author of the book, ‘Are You An Egg’ and founder of Penetgraph Corporate solutions Ltd.
As the national institute of marketing in Sri Lanka, SLIM has always been in the forefront when it comes to encouraging and inspiring development among the marketing fraternity in the country.
