People’s Leasing wins three awards at NASCO 2012

People’s Leasing Company PLC secured three of the nine awards in the financial products and services category at the National Sales Congress Awards (NASCO) held on 27 July at Waters Edge, organised by the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM).

Vajira Ramanayake – Senior Manager Nugegoda Branch - Bronze Award - Territorial Manager’s Category

Gampaha branch Manager Nandana Weerakkody was conferred Gold whilst Nugegoda branch Senior Manager Vajira Ramanayake was presented the Bronze in the Territorial Managers category.

Ward Place branch Marketing Executive A.H. Krishantha bagged the Gold in the Sales Executives and Sales Supervisors category bringing more pride to the company.

NASCO is the premier event in Sri Lanka that recognises sales excellence, rewards and motivates Sales professionals to achieve greater heights. NASCO’s objective is to raise the standard of sales professionalism in Sri Lanka.

Performance (capability) and the potential (capacity) were the two broad areas which considered for the evaluation of the nominees.

A. H. Krishantha – Marketing Executive Ward Place Branch - Gold Award – Sales Executives & Sales Supervisors Category

The evaluation process required the nominated sales representatives, sales executives to face an exam in the relevant field which is then followed by a question and answer session. Managers were required to make presentations of their areas or territory and the winners were selected by a final collective interview with all the judges.
