Nescafé, the world’s premium coffee brand, was voted the number one people’s choice for ‘Hot Beverage Brand of the Year’ at the SLIM-Nielsen People’s Awards 2012.
Held annually to recognise the brands and personalities that have left a lasting impact on Sri Lankan consumers, the SLIM-Nielsen Peoples Awards is widely likened to a Grammy nomination for those in the local business field, reflecting the votes or choice of the people for their favourite brands.

The SLIM-Nielsen Peoples Awards is Sri Lanka’s premier marketing awards ceremony. It is organised by the Sri Lanka Marketing Institute (SLIM) and backed by Nielsen, the largest research company in Sri Lanka.
