Mindshare a unit of GroupM Sri Lanka has yet again proved its place as the undisputed market leader in the field of communications by bagging the Agency of the Year Gold Award at the prestigious Campaign Asia 2016 Awards concluded recently. It is indeed a huge honour for Mindshare Sri Lanka, since the agency has specifically outshone its counterparts in the South Asian region.
Campaign Asia asses Creative and Media agencies based on multiple growth pillars. A mix of determinants such as creativity and meaningful delivery for clients also play a role in determining the winners. Adopting a different perspective to media communications and buying consolidation, backed by technical know-how has enabled Mindshare to retain its premier position, while delivering the best to clients and being competitive both locally and globally.
Continuing on its winning streak, this win at Campaign Asia’s – Agency of the Year is testament to the outstanding work done in the area of integrated communication by Mindshare. The past two years has been especially successful for the company with nine awards at the Effies, a Bronze for the Best Use of Mobile for Sunlight mobile campaign at the Festival of Media Asia Awards (FOMA) 2016 and winning a Gold for brand Sunlight (Light Up My Nation) in Best Use of Integrated Campaign (South Asia) category in Goa Fest 2016. Aside from these, the digital wing of Mindhshare also secured the bronze award as the Digital agency of the year at the Campaign Asia consecutively for the second year.
