Leo Burnett wins Sri Lanka’s first Gold at Spikes

Chani Perera and Induwarani Munasinghe of Leo Burnett Solutions Inc. (LBSI), the Sri Lankan office of the internationally acclaimed advertising agency network Leo Burnett Worldwide, created history by winning Sri Lanka’s first-ever Gold metal at Spikes Asia 2013. The Spikes Asia Awards, the region’s oldest and most prestigious awards for creative advertising took place at the Grand Theatre, Marina Bay Sands with over 1,000 delegates from across Asia Pacific. The Young Spikes Competitions provide Asia Pacific’s next generation of creative talent the opportunity to showcase their skills.  The duo were chosen from 14 teams through a pre-selection process in Sri Lanka and then participated in the Young Spikes Competitions, held during the Spikes Asia Festival, and competed against 14 teams from all over the world. Winning Gold in the Young Spikes Integrated Competition, Perera and Munasinghe bought recognition and pride to Sri Lanka and the communications industry.
