JWT’s Asia Pacific Executive Creative Directors (ECD) will be meeting in Colombo for the agency’s quarterly creative review, ‘Passion Patrol’. Held from 10-12 October, ‘Passion Patrol’ is the meeting that reviews the best work produced in the network’s offices across 18 countries in the region.
The arrivals include Sheung Yan Lo – ECD Northeast Asia and Chairman China, Tay Guan Hin – Regional ECD Southeast Asia, Jun Fukawa – CCO Singapore, Edwin Leong – Deputy Chairman and ECD Malaysia, Farahnaz Shaikh – ECD Pakistan and Ravi Deshpande – CCO Contract India.
Coordinated by Regional Creative Officer Betty Tsai, the meeting will be conducted over a period of three days which Michael Maedel – President JWT Asia Pac and Middle East will also be present in. The final day will see a training session for the JWT Colombo Creative team and interactive workshop with clients.

This is a fantastic opportunity for our team and clients to interact with people who have created iconic award-winning work year after year and been on the juries of all the big fests.” This year’s Cannes Festival saw JWT China winning its First Lion ever for Samsonite’s ‘Heaven and Hell’ campaign in the Print category and it continued the winning streak at last month’s Spikes Asia festival taking home 3 Grand Prix awards, 2 Gold, 1 Silver and a Bronze.
In all, the JWT regional network took home 27 Spikes across Beijing, Jakarta, Manila, Melbourne, India, Shanghai, Always Shanghai, Contract India, Singapore, Sydney, Vietnam all contributing to JWT clinching the Number 3 ‘Agency Network of the Year’ spot.
