Janashakthi stars shine at SLIM NASCO Awards 2013

Proving their mettle at SLIM NASCO awards Janashakthi claimed a silver and a bronze award in the insurance category. Shafi Sampan won the silver award in the Territorial Manager category and Sandun De Silva received the bronze award in the Sales Executive category. Organised by Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing, NASCO 2013 recognised commendable performances of sales and marketing professionals. The awards, now in its 13th year, is the only national forum to which companies can send their best performers and give them an opportunity to be appraised by a panel of judges from some of Sri Lanka’s leading companies. The award ceremony was held at the Hilton Colombo. “This was a stimulating experience. It is an honour to be recognised at such a prestigious event. I would like to share this joy with the entire Janashakthi sales and marketing team,” said Shafi Sampan. Expressing his views on this achievement. Sandun De Silva said: “At Janashakthi we try to deliver an excellent customer experience to inspire confidence in our customers. Winning this award has inspired me to strive even harder”. NASCO awards raises the bar on Sri Lankan sales and marketing professionals, with focus on excellent performance, leadership and professionalism. The event recognises and rewards the performance capability and the potential capacity of sales professionals.
