Fashion Bug, one of Sri Lanka’s leading retail clothing chains with over 16 outlets island-wide, was awarded Gold for being the ‘Best Key Account Partner’ at the recent Annual Sales Conference of Triumph International, the iconic global leader in manufacture and marketing of lingerie and shape-wear.

Held on 3 February at Hotel Galadari, the annual event highlighted the company’s growth and success in the country and awarded many of its top performing distributors and retailers for the previous year. Titles included ‘Dealer Centre of the Year’, ‘Best Dealer of the Year’, ‘Best Key Account Partner’, ‘Best Performing Dealer’, and ‘Best Distributor of the Year’.

Fashion Bug continues to strive and prove its loyalty towards Triumph by winning the title for three consecutive years with the retail fashion chain’s Colpetty store walking away with another Gold award for being the ‘Best Sales Outlet’, a title also won by its Wattala store during last year’s conference.

Concluding two decades of delighting customers with an array of new styles and exclusive locations for lingerie shopping, Triumph is ambitious with bigger plans going forward. This annual event is beyond than just a tribute to recognising those who contributed to its marketing success as it reviews and rewards performance of its distributorship family.

With women being a priority shopper market, Fashion Bug very recently launched their saree counter ‘Ethnic Fusion’ at their Katubedde outlet which showcases a dazzling array of casual and party wear sarees, shalwars, shalwar materials, kurtis and shawls coupled with a wide range of designer accessories, handbags, and shoes, that comes in various colours and designs to suit every individual’s taste and preference.

In addition to featuring high-quality international and local brands in every showroom, the retail fashion chain also manufactures and market their own brands such as Givo, Posh, Hush, Jobbs, Bigg Boss, Rock Star and Bug Junior.

Triumph International Lanka established their dealer network to promote the brand to a vast geographical locality. Since then the company has remarkably introduced and marketed innovative and fashionable intimate wear to Sri Lanka. Today it’s perceived as an ‘aspiration brand’ with strong branding, innovation and colourful range of styles along with a growing multi-channel distribution strategy.

“We are happy to have been recognised and awarded as a key partner of Triumph for three years in a row. We take relationship marketing seriously not just with our customers but with suppliers too and always assure that we’re performing beyond their expectations. We hope to further strengthen our association with Triumph going forward,” said Fashion Bug Director Shabier Subian.

Fashion Bug commenced its operations since 1994 as a partnership business with four partners and a staff population of just 15, and today it possesses over 16 stores throughout the country with a workforce of over 1,250 employees, and stands among the leading clothing stores in Sri Lanka catering with the fashion motto of ‘changing lifestyles’.
