The luncheon meeting on issues facing global marketers organised by the American Chamber of Commerce in Sri Lanka (AmCham) in collaboration with The Chartered Institute of Marketing Sri Lanka Region (CIM) was held on Monday, 28 November 2011, at the Moonstone & Amethyst, Hilton Colombo.

Chartered Institute of Marketing International Chairman Chris Lenton was the Guest Speaker at this event. Post Graduate Institute of Management Director Prof. Uditha Liyanage moderated the session and the panel comprised of Bates Strategic Alliance Chairman/CEO Nimal Gunewardena and Unilever Sri Lanka Limited Marketing Director Asanga Ranasinghe.
The presentation by Lenton was followed by a moderated Q&A panel discussion.
Some of the main highlights of Lenton’s speech were on getting more from marketing assets and campaigns based on the research the institute had carried out recently with 150 top CEOs and senior executives attached to world’s leading companies.
The event was attended by representatives from a number of leading companies and was well received by all those who participated. Asian Alliance Insurance came forward as the event partner in organising this timely event.
