Campaign Asia-Pacific has announced the 2013 call for entries from South Asia for the region’s most prestigious Agency of the Year awards. For 20 years, the Agency of the Year awards have recognised inspired leadership, management excellence, outstanding business performance and overall achievements in Asia-Pacific’s advertising and communications industries. In 2012, a dedicated leg for South Asia was born. The aim of these awards is to reward the industry top performers in South Asia. They are designed to allow your agencies — big or small — and your talent to shine within the local market and region, with the opportunity of network recognition at an Asia-Pacific level. This year it has introduced two new categories this year — Talent Management Person/ Team of the Year and Young Achiever of the Year, as part of the commitment to supporting young talent and the development of local talent in the region. The Talent Management award will recognize the professional or team who has most effectively aligned the agency’s people strategies with business outcomes, while the Young Achiever award aims to put the spotlight on the region’s stars who are under 30. There will be country awards in the Creative Agency of the Year, Media Agency of the Year and Digital Agency of the Year, and regional awards (South Asia) in the remaining categories. There are seven people categories to celebrate individual achievements and contributions. In the agency categories, judges will award a Gold, Silver and Bronze, while only a winner and runner-up will be announced in the people categories. The judging panel will comprise senior marketers from key business categories and Campaign’s editors. In our commitment to transparency, PricewaterhouseCoopers will tabulate the results of the awards. Only achievement for the November 1, 2012 to October 31, 2013 period will be evaluated by the judges. Deadline for entries is 18 October 2013. More details http://www.aoyawards.com/india/
