Beyonce Knowles has revealed that she has signed a record-breaking contract with Pepsi, which could help her earn 100 million dollars over the next five years.
The 31-year-old singer said that she was thrilled about her very unique new partnership.
A series of sales and profit-linked clauses in the deal means that the ‘Beautiful liar’ singer can earn more than five times the sum that Pepsi paid to Michael Jackson, the Daily Star reported.
It is also 10 times more than the company pays to sponsor Simon Cowell’s US version of ‘X Factor’.
Her face will be plastered across limited-edition cans and bottles of Pepsi from next month, along with her images in promotional displays in stores worldwide. The former Destiny’s Child member will also feature in a series of TV commercials and special events, sponsored by the company. One of her first projects will be the Super Bowl halftime show in New Orleans in February.
