Offers complete suite of Stratasys
professional 3D printing solutions to local businesses
Access Industrial Systems, a subsidiary of the Access Group, announced its partnership with Stratasys, India, the 3D printing and additive manufacturing solutions company, to set up a new dimension of 3D printing in Sri Lanka.
With extensive specialisation in areas of vertical transportation solutions, mobile compactors, aerial platform vehicles, etc., Access Industrial Systems embarks on a new venture as it joins the partner network of Stratasys India to distribute the complete suite of Stratasys professional 3D printing solutions across Sri Lanka to better serve the needs of local businesses.
3D printing has taken the forefront of the manufacturing world with its ability to create physical objects directly from digital files through an additive process which builds objects layer-by-layer from the bottom up. Stratasys develops and manufactures 3D printing systems based on two of the most versatile and widely used 3D printing technologies available today – FDM (Fused Deposition Modelling) and PolyJetTM.
Commenting on this partnership, a spokesperson from Access Industrial Systems said: “We are greatly honoured to be in business with Stratasys, one of the most recognised printing solutions providers in the arena, to introduce the latest specialised 3D printing technologies to businesses in Sri Lanka. With this partnership, not only will we be able to reach out to a large segment of several industries and capitalise the potential of 3D printing in Sri Lanka, but also grow our portfolio of products and services in the country.”
Further remarking on this venture, Stratasys India General Manager Rajiv Bajaj commented: “We believe that 3D printing adds value to the various business models and processes in enterprises, mid-sized companies and local production houses. With Sri Lanka poised as an experienced and highly skilled manufacturing centre for products such as Apparel, we are confident that the new partnership with Access Industrial Systems will help us tap into this market, enhance awareness towards 3D printing and educate individuals of the potential of the innovative technology.”
Access Industrial Systems, together with Stratasys India, aims to offer world-class 3D printing solutions and advanced applications to companies across different sectors in Sri Lanka, including manufacturing, medical, architecture, designing and more.
