The Annual Dinner Dance of the Marketing Alumni Association of Sri Jayewardenepura University, ‘Marketing Kings and Queens 2018’ will be held on 15 September from 6.30 p.m. onwards at Solis Hotel, Kotte.
The dinner dance is organised by the Alumni Association exclusively for its members and their spouses. Graduates of all passed out batches from the Marketing Management Department of Sri Jayewardenepura University are expected to mark their presence in this event, and is sure to boost the senses with its ‘Back to the 70’s’ theme, making it an evening to remember.
The Japura Marketing Alumni Association represents 17 batches altogether, starting from the 1996/1997 batch, and this representation is an excellent blend consisting of corporate leaders in the fields of sales and marketing, entrepreneurs, new graduates from the Department of Marketing Management of USJP who have newly stepped onto their career paths, and many more marketing personalities. This event, with a line-up of entertainment activities, provides an opportunity for networking and is a much-anticipated event for marketers who wish to meet their old colleagues from their university days.
“This year, we have opened up the event to the spouses of our valued alumni members as well, because we believe networking together is what matters the most at the end of the day, whatever said and done,” the Alumni Association President Lalith Sumanasiri said. “We have received confirmations from our dearest fellow colleagues, among whom some have been living abroad for a long time, that they will be coming to this event just to have their university days recalled with joy and chill. For them, our promise is to gift an amazing event full of fun games, surprises, entertainment and much more.” Nevertheless, time spent with the colleagues met at the most beautiful time period of one’s life is never a waste.
As tickets are now out, and that the seats available are limited, the organising committee invites all graduates from the Marketing Management Department of USJP to book in advance.
