Upcoming events of TMC Negombo

TMC Negombo together with their host hotel – Camelot Beach Hotel is currently planning on organising a Management Training Program in Health and Safety, Risk Management specially focusing in the manufacturing environment.

The organisers thought it fit to organise such a seminar in view of the numerous manufacturing industries at the Katunayake Free Trade Zone. Date of the seminar to be informed both to membership and public shortly, however would be during the last week of August and would be held at their host hotel – Camelot Beach Hotel Negombo.

This seminar will be conducted by Gamini Rajapakse who is an Electrical Engineer graduated in Electrical Engineering from Council of Engineers, UK and ‘MIET’ designated from Institute of Engineering Technology UK. He also holds an MBA in Human Resource Management and has over 26 years experience in manufacturing of which 10 years is in implementing Health and Safety/Risk Management and Lead Auditor for OHSAS 18000 system.

TMC Negombo will hold its AGM sometime in mid September and the dates for both events will be finalised on 9 August at the Executive Committee Meeting. Members will be duly informed of dates, times and the agenda.
