TMC invites Fazal Issadeen to speak on “IQ, EQ & XQ: Redefining BI” on 29 July

The Management Club has invited specialist Fazal Issadeen to  share insights on the subject of “IQ, EQ & XQ : Redefining BI (Business Intelligence)”.

The  Presentation will be  held on 29th July 2015   at 7.30 pm at the Galadari Hotel.    

During his presentation he will also focus on the Importance of Knowledge, Process & Change Management.  He will also cover briefly on Peter Principle, Pareto & Murphy.  The presentation  will be stimulated with real life experiences that Fazal has faced during his four decades of work.

Fazal Issadeen,   commenced his IT career in 1974 at IBM Career Training Programs in Sri Lanka.  He left Sri Lanka in 1977, (Sri Lanka had only 7 computers at that time) to work in Tehran for a French Computer agent (Logabax).

 Subsequently  he  joined Datamation Systems in Dubai in 1979 and performed  assignments for organizations such as AL Futtaim, Standard Oil, Exxon & many US based oil companies. 

Head hunted by  Schlumberger in 1982 he was appointed as the IT Manager overseeing Saudi and Bahrain.

Fazal has a Hons degree in Business Management majoring in  IT from UK. 

In 1986 , he launched Datamation Systems a software company that focuses on customized ERP solutions. Currently Datamation has 100+ employees and 400+ clients in Sri Lanka.

Their flagship product FiNAC is an ERP catering to over fourteen vertical markets mainly in Sri Lanka.  Datamation also  services clients in India, Maldives and Australia.

 Working in the IT field with the private sector has enabled him to obtain a 360 degree view of all aspects of Business Management from Finance, Supply Chain to HRM.

This resulted in Fazal performing several management consultancies, resulting in the  turning  round of 5 unprofitable businesses. Four in Sri Lanka and one in India. The businesses were as diversified from Poultry, Construction, to Steel. His main skill in the turnaround was identifying the right resource in the right place and providing real time management information.

In the recent past he has enthralled audiences lecturing on ICT Fraud, Turbo Charging your Business, Demystifying the ERP etc

The Management Club is confident that this unique presentation will provide a mindset change to the Members and the public.
