The 12th AGM of the Management Club of Colombo was held on 9 February at the Galadari Hotel, Colombo. The AGM was well attended by its members. In his speech, the outgoing Chairman Ninesh Amirthiah thanked the members of the Executive Committee and the members of the Board of Management for all the support and encouragement given during his two-year tenure. He emphasised on the fact, the Management Club had grown in stature ever since the club had relocated to the Galadari Hotel.
Browns & Company PLC Senior Vice President Manjula Wijemmanne was elected as the Chairman of the Management Club – Colombo for the year 2016. In his acceptance speech, he outlined his plans for the year 2016. He emphasised on building a forum for the members to network with each other and keeping to the mandate of the Management Club, he mentioned that special leadership development programs and evening talk sessions by eminent speakers was in the plan. The following members were elected to the Executive Committee of the Management Club for the year 2016.
