HDFC Bank wins ACCA Award for second consecutive year

HDFC Bank won the award for sustainability reporting in the small scale category for the second consecutive year at the ACCA sustainability reporting awards, held on 14 February at the Cinnamon Grand hotel in Colombo.

Being a licensed specialised bank for housing finance, HDFC conforms to GRI guidelines on sustainability reporting. The bank had presented the sustainability report in its Annual Report 2010 under the theme of financial inclusion, opening doors for housing finance.

HDFC Chairperson Siromi Wickramasinghe, Acting CEO and General Manager S. Dissanayake, AGM (Finance and Planning) D.V. Pathirana, the staff of its corporate and senior management were also present at the occasion.
