Deloitte ranked No. 1 in global consulting by Gartner

Gartner, Inc. the technology and research advisory firm (headquartered in Stamford, US), has ranked Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Limited (Deloitte) as the number one global consulting provider based on revenue, for the fourth consecutive year, in their recently released market share analysis entitled ‘Market Share: IT Services, 2013’. Deloitte remains the top player in 2013 for consulting services, with a 12.5% market share and consulting services growth rate of 6.6 percent.
Gartner annually analyses and publishes its market share and rakings for the previous calendar year across all Technology-related capabilities. Gartner defines Consulting as Business Consulting (consulting leading to IT solutions) and IT Consulting.
They assess the market based on revenue as well as by industry segment, regions, and countries. Ranked No. 1 in Americas based on revenue, whilst ranked No. 1 in Asia Pacific based on revenue; up from No. 2 spot in 2012, and ranked No. 3 in EMEA based on revenue.
