Crisis: Mitigate or manage?

Crisis management has become a hot topic in today’s corporate world for as economies grow, the challenges faced by businesses increase exponentially which has led to organisations having to negate the effects of crises faced at every corner.

Understanding the need for proper crisis management in the Sri Lankan corporate environment, CIMA hosted a CFO forum last week featuring Unilever Pakistan Director and Company Secretary Amar Naseer who held an interactive session with a gathering of top corporate personalities on the importance of proper crisis management within organisations and drew upon many timely examples to drive his point home.
