An International Research Conference on Transdisciplinary Perspective on Accounting will be held in Sri Lanka on 4 and 5 January at the Central Bank’s Centre for Banking Studies Auditorium at Rajagiriya, Colombo from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The conference has been jointly organised by the Department of Accounting of the University of Sri Jayawardenapura, Centre for Banking Studies of the Central Bank, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka, Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, UK, and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, UK.
More than 10 international research schools are expected to present papers at this conference.
Guest Speakers will be Professor Danture Wickremasinghe, Professor of Management Accounting at the University of Hull, Business School, UK, Professor Hector Perera, Macquarie University, Australia and Professor Kim Watty, Chair in Accounting, School of Accounting, Economics and Finance, Deakin University of Australia.
