Talal speaks at Chatham House London Roundtable discussion on gender equality

Talal Rafi spoke at the Chatham House London roundtable discussion on the topic ‘Beyond the Pandemic: Designing the roadmap for a gender equal world’.

Rafi also worked with the Royal Institute of International Affairs (known as Chatham House) on formulating recommendations for the G7 and G20 on gender equality post-COVID.

Some of the other prominent industry leaders who took part in the roundtable discussion were: International Trade Centre Executive Director Dorothy Tembo, Goldman Sachs Executive Director Charlotte Keenan, We-Fi World Bank Group Head Wendy Teleki, Ernst & Young Global Director Lisa Schiffman and MasterCard Vice Chairperson Ann Cairns. Rafi is a Sri Lankan entrepreneur and consultant working across multiple fields in developing entrepreneurship. As an Industry Expert under the World Bank AHEAD Project with Moratuwa University he supports the development of entrepreneurship ecosystems. 

Talal is on the Selection Committee of the Asian Development Bank #DigitalAgainstCovid-19 innovation series. He is on the Expert Panel of Forbes Magazine and is a member of the National Agenda Committee of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce. He previously worked as an entrepreneurship specialist for a USAID Project. He was nominated as a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader.
