TMC and Pegasus signed an MOU at the TMC Board room, Galadari Hotel on 25 July 2019.
President Emeritus Fayaz Saleem, together with immediate past President Nasser Majeed, signed on behalf of TMC, whilst Pegasus GM Harsha Jayasinghe and Head of Finance Kapila Gunathilaka signed on behalf of the hotel.
TMC, with its overall membership of around 500 covering Colombo, Mount Lavinia, Kalutara and Negombo, identified the importance of the northern suburb of Colombo encompassing primarily Wattala, Jaela, Ekala, Ragama, and to some extent Kelaniya, Kadawatha and Kiribathgoda, therefore deciding to establish TMC Wattala with Pegasus Reef Hotel as its host.
To this end, a formal presentation of TMC’s vision, objectives and history together is planned for the end of August/September, to which professional managers residing/working in the vicinity are being invited. Professional members residing/working in the Wattala area who wish to participate in this event may call the TMC Secretariat at Galadari Hotel on 071 5860000 or 011 5860000 and provide their names, contact numbers, addresses and emails to be formally invited.
Membership of TMC Wattala will entitle them to numerous benefits and access to all the host hotels where the combined membership will be provided with discounts of 20% or more on food and beverage as well as numerous other facilities.
They will also have the opportunity to freely patronise the lounge, board room and bottle bar facilities at the Galadari hotel. The current host hotels where exclusive discounts of up to 20% are available to the entire membership include Berjaya Mount Royal, Hibiscus Kalutara, Camelot Beach Negombo, Ramada Ranmal Panadura hotels.
