TMC Negombo increases membership

Under the Chairmanship of Gehan Amerasinghe, TMC Wattala, has in spite of the current pandemic, been able to attract seven new members.

The Club had undergone several challenges ever since the April bomb blast, and the subsequent disturbances in and around Negombo, after which the country had two elections, presidential and general closely followed by the pandemic. The members were unable to have any physical interactive sessions which is the underlying vision of TMC of meeting and greeting fellow members in the area.

The TMC Negombo Hotel, Camelot Beach was also used as a quarantine centre and therefore was unavailable for the members to use. Gehan and his executive committee await the re-opening of the hotel to arrange a suitable event.
