In the aftermath of a pandemic Sri Lanka’s economic revival will depend on the abilities of organisations to bounce back, re-strategise, motivate and energise their teams and equip and enable them to recapture revenues and generate profits.
Big or small, the success of an organisation greatly depends on the skill and capability of its people to not only find opportunity but to know how to convert it successfully to profits. Organisations have recognised that the development of their people will be vital for overcoming the challenges of the current market conditions but it is easier said than done. This is why TMC Mt. Lavinia innovated the of launching ‘The Expert Panel’.
TMC boasts a large membership of professional managers who are enriched with vast experience in various fields of management with impressive academic qualifications. As a responsible professional body, The Management Club Mt. Lavinia has initiated the formation of a consortium of experts within the TMC membership, who will provide consultation and training solutions required for organisations in Sri Lanka through the club. This initiative will support Sri Lankan business organisations to upgrade their processes, improve productivity and uplift professionalism and capability of their teams so that they are equipped to face the challenges of the current market condition.
“The Expert Panel will be driven by a subcommittee of members who are currently in the field of professional consultancy and are recognised trainers in different fields. For the first time their combined expertise will be available to organisations in Sri Lanka to help them sharpen their capability and advance in regaining lost revenues and driving growth. I can’t think of any other organisation that would have a mix of diverse resource people across so many fields to uniting as a front to aid the progress of companies who need it,” said TMC Mt. Lavinia Chairman Roger Talayaratne.
The management consultation products will cover, budgeting, cost reduction opportunities, process improvements, sales and marketing strategy development and planning ERP solutions to name a few. A vast menu of training and development program covering, sale effectiveness training, credit and cashflow management, project management, negotiation skill development, financial acumen, development of analytical skills, communication skills, business process reengineering and many more training and development programs is available through the expert panel.
“I am excited that The Management Club is embarking on setting up The Expert Panel to contribute to the progress of organisations in Sri Lanka. The TMC has been using its talented membership for internal management development programs like ‘Members Speak’ which has benefited the members of TMC over the years. I believe this is the next phase in taking the skills and capabilities of our membership beyond our club to aid in the progress of companies all over Sri Lanka,” said The Management Club President Emeritus Fayaz Saleem.
The Expert Panel of The Management Club will be operational from January 2021 and organisations in Sri Lanka and the membership may now may reach the club on Tel: 5860000 or email [email protected] for more information.
