Sri Lanka Institute of Training and Development (SLITAD) created a platform for Human Resources Development (HRD) professionals on 4 December at Cinnamon Lake Side Colombo. The main objective of this dialogue is to highlight sustainable learning and development practices to achieve organisation excellence.
The areas explored in the HRD Professional Dialogue were a ‘Journey through Reactive Adjustments to Proactive Initiations to Achieve SMART Goals towards Organisational Success’. The areas for discussion encompassed ‘Innovative HRD Solutions In Line With Global Trends’, ‘Strategic Human Capital Management Measures and Trends Best and Next HRD Practices’ and ‘SMAC (Social Media, Mobile, Analytics and Cloud) Demands for Sustainability and Readiness of HRD to Welcome the Year 2020’.
The forum was led by PIM Consultant Dr. Samantha Rathnayake and the session panellists were Dr. Nalin Jayasuriya, Suranjith Godagama, Dr. Sunethra Nugawela and Azmy Saly.
The audience represented company team members from leading private companies, bankers, professionals and HRD practitioners. A cross-section of participants were from the University of Colombo, HNB Finance, Seylan Bank, HSBC Card Centre, Pership Group of Companies and Cinnamon Grand Hotels.
