CMA Sri Lanka launched the CMA Management Accountancy Consultancy Services for the SME Sector at the Financial and Cost and Management Accounting for Development of SMEs Conference on 24 January based on the IFAC Global SMP Survey 2018 summary carried out in 150 countries highlighting the importance of Technology, Talent and Advisory Services.
The main areas of consultancy services is to provide engage in advisory services including corporate advisory, SME advisory, cost and management accounting, financial accounting, taxation, business development, risk management, corporate strategy, performance management, cost and productivity management and will also include project preparation, obtaining funds, preparation of accounts, tax work, costing and pricing, compliance work relating to banks and Government, human resource policies and procedures and employment regulations, restructuring of organisations, succession planning, controls and fraud investigation.
CMA Sri Lanka members Deshapriya Senanayake, Darshika Wickramasinghe, Nishani Perera and Puvendran Gajendra received the Inaugural Management Consultancy Services Certificates from the President of International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) Dr. In-Ki Joo together with Senior Advisor to Prime Minister on Economic Affairs Ajith Nivard Cabral and CMA Sri Lanka President Prof. Lakshman R. Watawala joined by leading bankers, SME industry, exporters and services leaders.
