Fayaz Saleem meets CMI CEO in London

Fayaz Saleem, a founder member of the Colombo branch and Past President and ‘Companion’ Member of the Chartered Management Institute UK seized the opportunity of visiting the head office of the Institute in Holborn London on 19 November during his recent trip to the United Kingdom. In the first instance Fayaz Saleem – the founder of The Management Club (an initiative of CMI – Sri Lanka) conveyed greetings and good wishes from the President of CMI SL branch Murali Prakash, the Executive committee and the membership.

During his visit he had a cordial reception afforded to him by CMI Chief Executive Ann Francke and CMI Managing Director, Asia Pacific David Jones who is based out of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Fayaz Saleem expressed his gratitude to both for having found time to meet him and to discuss some mutually beneficial matters concerning the CMI’s activities and educational progress in the UK and Sri Lanka. Fayaz also discussed his concerns regarding CMI membership fees which has been communicated to UK for many years.

Fayaz had informed both Francke and Jones how active the branch has been during the recent past that has helped to enhance further the image of the Institute in Sri Lanka. He also discussed briefly The Management Club’s progress and assured them both of promoting the educational programs of the Institute and its membership to the members of The Management Club.
