Experience Japanese management in Thailand through JASTECA

JASTECA Institute of Management (JIM) has designed a timely-needed training program for development of next level leaders with the title of ‘Experience Japanese management in Thailand’ under JASTECA Management Development Programme (JMDP). The program launched, will be fully conducted in Thailand, with 25 participants as maximum number per batch. This training program will cover two days theatrical aspects in two key dimensions. 

The first day, will be focusing on ‘Redefining Leadership’ with ‘Transformational Leadership’ approach, how the corporate leaders and heads are going to manage millennials capturing their full potential for the organisational development and giving breathing space for exploring their valuable inputs for corporate decision-making process. On the second day, the group will focus on ‘Essence of Japanese Management Concepts’ including the quality management aspects and how best we can make use of these Japanese management techniques to our own corporate environment. 

Both sessions will be conducted by well-experienced, academically qualified, high calibre Sri Lankan resource personnel with practical exposure and trained from Japan. 

The resource personnel will be taking the group to factory visits scheduled from the third to fifth day of this program including Toyota Thailand plant and other best Japanese company factories based in Thailand to see the practical applications of what they learnt in the classroom and to expose them to success stories of how Japanese companies practiced these techniques for the success of their businesses. End of the training period, the resources personnel will brief the learning and practical exposure with the action plan and finally, all the participants have to go through an evaluation as well.  After successful completion of this training program, all the participants will receive a valid certificate at the awarding ceremony which will be conducted in Thailand on the last day in the presence of senior officials from AOTS Japan-Thailand alumni. Japan Sri Lanka Technical and Cultural Association (JASTECA) was established in 1982 as an Alumni of the Association for Overseas Technical Corporation and Sustainable Partnership (AOTS), Japan. Among various activities JASTECA involved, the prime objective is to promote Japanese Management Techniques including best leadership, corporate management techniques and quality management initiatives through various training programs, workshops and seminars conducted both in Japan and Sri Lanka.
