The Employers’ Federation of Ceylon (EFC) will be presenting a two-day workshop on ‘Rightsizing your Organisation for Business Sustainability’ on 29 and 30 September at the EFC Auditorium. The workshop, open to both the EFC members and non-members, is designed to enable insights into multiple aspects of rightsizing organisations.
It will be conducted by a resource pool drawn from the EFC’s professional staff and external experts in relevant areas. The objective of the workshop, as EFC Assistant Director General (Advisory Services)/Head of Training Yashoravi Bakmiwewa says, is to help decision makers restructure their business operations in order to ensure long term sustainability.
The workshop will focus on: Organisational re-structuring as a strategic management tool, legal principles governing organisational re-structuring, different aspects of organisational re-structuring: operational, financial and people, tax liability in re-structuring related pay-outs and implementing a VRS.
The workshop, as Bakmiwewa notes will be in compliance with health guidelines assuring a safe training environment replete with social distancing. “In order to assure optimum safety of the participants, we are compelled to make it a limited-number participant workshop, hence early-bird registration is encouraged.”
All participants attending the full session will be given a certificate of participation at the end of the program.
