The Board of Management of The Management Club was duly elected at the last Annual General Meeting held at the VIP Room at the Hotel Galadari.
The Board was pleased to note some of the significant achievements during the preceding year.
A new sponsorship agreement was signed with UB Finance, bringing a steady cash flow to the Board as well as offering excellent benefits to the TMC membership.
The monthly evening meetings were held with distinguished speakers, everyone a leader in their field of expertise including Tayab Hassen, Member of Parliament Eran Wickremeratne, Winner of the world’s best speaker 2015 Dhanajaya Hettiarachchi, Dr. Saman Kelegama, Fazal Issadeen, Arfath Saleem, Professor Ajantha Dharmasiri, Anushka Wijesinha and Dr. Nalin Jayasuriya.
The Board was able to host a Gala dinner celebrating the 13th anniversary of TMC.
The Board will continue to host the evening meetings every month and also plans to host many corporate events which will target a wider participation from the management fraternity.
The Board of Management thanks Sunimal Weerasooriya, Athula Jayasekera, Ninesh Amirthiah and Farzana Khan – outgoing members for the yeomen services rendered for several years.
