A spokesperson for the Archdiocese of Colombo confirmed the dates of the tour in January 2015.
Pope Francis had previously stated that he will visit Sri Lanka for two days in January 2015, but gave no definite dates and details.
His Holiness will also visit the Philippines during the trip to Asia.
