Experiencing two of the most successful and largest re-unions in Wesley’s 138 year history a month back, Wesleyites will rally once again to meet and greet on Saturday, 27 October 2012 at its annual dinner dance themed ‘Long Train Running.’
The dinner dance will be held at the plush Waters Edge ballroom and has been organised by the Old Wesleyites Sports Club. The club which is housed in a unique railway carriage continues to run relentlessly albeit the flow of events during the year.
Guests will be hosted to a cocktail from 8.30 p.m. after which the doors will be opened to the Grand Ballroom for Wesley’s signature event. Providing scintillating music to keep your feet moving throughout the night will be the Fabulous Gypsies and the most dynamic dance band in Sri Lanka named Black.
Hosting you through the event will be the vivacious and versatile Sonaali Perera. Air tickets and prizes will be on offer along with surprises.
A sumptuous buffet of gastronomical delights accompanied by mouthwatering desserts turned out by the chefs of Waters Edge will be spread out to satisfy your appetite. Towards dawn, a Sri Lankan breakfast will be laid out so that you can refresh yourself before you head back home. The dynamic and energetic dance committee headed by Senaka Amaratunga is moving at full throttle to ensure that this year’s dance will be awesome and unique by itself.
