Triumph International Lanka Ltd. held its Annual Sales Conference in January 2012 at the Taj Samudra Hotel.
The conference was organised on an innovative ‘Las Vegas’ theme with much glamour and fan fare. Attending the conference were Triumph’s network of distributors and top performing retailer partners from all across the country.
One of the key highlights of the conference was the unveiling of the latest collection from Triumph, the Wild & Sexy T-Shirt Bra collection in fabulous Leopard and zebra prints. The range is due to hit the market on 1 March 2012.
Another highlight was the awards ceremony which highlighted the outstanding performers for the year. 2011 was a fantastic year for Triumph with the company recording a 33% growth and its network of loyal retail partners were the chief contributors. The following retailers were recognised as best performers in each distribution zone that Triumph operates in: Colombo – Cool Planet, Negombo –Thilakawardana Textile (Kiribathgoda), Kandy – New Sriyani Dress Point, Galle – Rich Look, Batticaloa – Nilam Traders (Kattankudi) Jaffna – Linganadan Textiles. NOLIMIT won the Gold award for Best Key Account Partner while Fashion Bug and Beverly Street won Silver and Bronze respectively. W. K. Amarajeewa from Galle Region was awarded as the Best Distributor for the year 2011. Asanka Upendra emerged as The Best Sales Executive for the year 2011, and the Triumph Store at Liberty Plaza was adjudicated as Best Own Store Location. The wholesale and retail channels have grown tremendously during the past two years, and as a result Brand Triumph has managed to establish its presence in every major city in the country.
